*Piercing through the earlobe*
This may be the most common piercing on the planet.
Easily done, easy to care for, easy to stretch, and accepted socially.

*A piercing through your outer ear cartilage rim*
Usually done with a ring, however other jewelry can be used. Most commonly found in gauge 18 through 12.

*A piercing through your ear cartilage rim*
This piercing is on the inside, or front of the upper rim of cartilage.

*Piercing through the outer shell of your ear*
The outer conch is up high through the outer shell.

*Piercing through the inner shell of your ear*
The inner conch is lower, through the inside shell.

*Piercing through the "little nub part"*
The “nub” of cartilage right in front of the ear canal is called the tragus. Most commonly you will see a ring as jewelry.

*Vertical piercing through the tragus*
Using a small barbell. Usually curved, the tragus can be pierced vertically. Not very common, it may migrate.

*Anti-Helix Piercing*
This piercing passes through the upper inner fold of cartilage. Usually done with a CBR in 18 and 16 gauges.

Piercing through inner conch ridge of cartilage*
Most popular with a small diameter CBR, this piercing goes through the most innermost cartilage ridge on the ear. Usually directly below the rook, above and inside the tragus.

*Inner cartilage helix fold*
This piercing passes through the vertical ridge of cartilage that ‘outlines’, but doesn't go to the edge the ear. A pretty difficult piercing to heal. You should use jewelry that fits the channel created naturally. Straight or mildly curved barbells are usually most comfortable.

*2 or more piercings connected by one barbell*
A piercing in which a single barbell passes through two piercings. Most common, two helix piercings, however, other industrials are possible and have been successful in other parts of the body.

*Piercing through cartilage rim above lobe*
Rings and short barbells are most commonly used. The piercing passes through the cartilage just above the earlobe (across from the tragus).

*Piercing through the length of the earlobe*
This piercing is basically just an earlobe piecing turned ninety degrees. Instead of going across, it goes along with the earlobe. Curved or straight barbells depending on your lobe.

*Piercing through the length of the earlobe*
This piecing passes through from the bottom of the lobe, to inside the conch or on top of the anti-tragus, vertically.

*2 Piercings connected by one ring*
Similar to industrials, but two piercings are connected by a single CBR. Separate jewelry should be used for best healing.

*Piercing through the ridge of the eyebrow*
Usually done vertically anywhere through the ridge of your eyebrow. 18 gauge through 14 gauge are the most common in CBR’s or barbells.

*Piercing trough the nostril*
Usually done through rings or screws 18 and 16 gauge. This has to be the most popular piercing globally, aside from the ear lobes.

*The "BULLRING" piercing*
This piercing passes through the navel septum, or middle of the nose. Circular barbells and CBR’s are most common; however, this piercing can be hidden easily using a retainer as jewelry.

*Piercing through either the upper or lower lip*
Usually done with a CBR, close to the lip line. However lower, over, up or down, either lip, you can decorate as you wish.

*Piercing under the bottom lip*
Labret stud is most common and comfortable, in front of the gums out through the lip.

*The "Beauty mark" Piercing*
Using a labret stud, you can pierce a labret through the top lip, off center to either side.

*Upper lip labret peircing*
Central pierced labret through the upper lip.

*Vertical piercing through the body of the tongue*
Usually, done centrally and vertically. Off center piercings are also a valid option, Usually in pairs. May people, once healed, stretch up to bigger gauges. 12 and 14 gauge straight barbell should be used for initial piercing.

*Piercing through the rim of the navel*
The piercing can be done anywhere there is a defined lip but usually centered above the navel. CBR’s or barbells should be proper size to fit your specific navel. This piercing is one of the more common, however without proper care it may be surprisingly hard to heal.

*Piercing through the base of the nipple*
Most common in a 14 gauge or 12 gauge in almost any choice of jewelry. If a ring is used, it must be of a big enough diameter to not force rejection or migration, and should be horizontal. Barbells however may be horizontal, vertical, angled or however you like.

*Piercing behind areola*
For less common than the regular nipple piercing. Using a long enough straight barbell, you can pierce behind the whole areola.
